Brendan Gahan is Partner & Chief Social Officer at independent creative agency Mekanism.
Gahan has been at the forefront of social & influencer marketing from the beginning. He was among the first to do influencer marketing on YouTube back in 2006. He’s developed social campaigns for brands such as Mountain Dew, Unilever, Amazon, 20th Century Fox, and The Olympics. Brendan was named to the Forbes 30 Under 30 list in 2012 and is a member of Vidcon’s Advisory Board.
In 2015 he sold the influencer marketing agency he’d built, Epic Signal, to Mekanism.
Gahan is a frequent speaker and regular contributor to Entrepreneur. He has spoken at The Next Web, Vidcon, Advertising Week (to name a few), and has been featured in The New York Times, The Wall Street Journal, Fast Company, Ad Age and countless other publications for his social media expertise.
